Croatia

Croatia is a country located in Southeast Europe, on the Adriatic coast. It is bordered by Slovenia to the northwest, Hungary to the north, Serbia to the east, Bosnia and Herzegovina to the southeast, and Montenegro to the south. The capital and largest city is Zagreb. The official language is Croatian and the population is around 4.1 million. The economy is based on tourism, agriculture and manufacturing. Croatia is known for its beautiful coastline, more than 1000 islands, historic sites, and national parks such as Plitvice Lakes National Park. The country has a rich cultural heritage, including traditional music and dance, and a vibrant culinary scene. Croatia is a parliamentary constitutional republic. Croatia joined Schengen zone on 01 Jan 2023.
