Slovakia

Slovakia is a landlocked country located in Central Europe. It is bordered by Poland to the north, Ukraine to the east, Czech Republic to the west, Hungary to the south, and Austria to the southwest. The capital and largest city is Bratislava. The official language is Slovak and the population is around 5.5 million. The economy is based on manufacturing, services, and agriculture. Slovakia has a rich culture with a mix of Slavic and German influences, including traditional folk music and dances, and historic castles and churches. The country is also known for its beautiful natural landscapes, such as the Tatra Mountains and the Slovak Paradise National Park. Slovakia is a parliamentary republic and a member of the European Union since 2004.
