Cyprus

Cyprus is an island country located in the Eastern Mediterranean, south of Turkey. It is the third largest and third most populous island in the Mediterranean. The official languages are Greek and Turkish and the country is a member of the European Union. The population is around 1.2 million. The economy is mainly based on tourism, services, and light manufacturing. Cyprus has a rich history and culture, with ancient Greek and Roman ruins, medieval castles and churches, and beautiful beaches.
